At the heart of the orchestra is a commitment to artistic excellence, collaboration, imaginative programming and community. Over the past fourteen seasons, Tewkesbury Camerata has welcomed outstanding soloists, guest conductors, choirs and composers while raising thousands of pounds for charitable causes. Through accessible concerts, thoughtful programming and exceptional musicianship, the orchestra continues to create memorable musical experiences for performers and audiences alike.
The main goal of the orchestra is a simple belief: great music should be accessible to everyone. Tewkesbury Camerata concerts are free of charge, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to experiencing live orchestral music. Instead of ticket prices, audiences are invited to support a nominated charity through voluntary donations, enabling every performance to enrich both the cultural and charitable life of the local community.
